This is the menu template. When you change a menu file, it will affect all the pages below it in the site unless a menu file in a lower directory replaces it. The following changes may be made to the standard menu section below:

Make a top level section default to being open. Second level items that contain 3rd level items are always open. To do this:
1. Select the text in the MajorMenuItem box of the menu section you would like to appear open.
2. apply the "defaultopennode" style to it by using the pull down menu below the publish/edit button (Contribute). The text in the headings of these menu sections will appear brown.
3. all menu sections that are not defaultopennode will appear closed when the user first opens the page
4. on some older browsers, the entire menu will be open from the start and will not be closeable. This is because of limitiation of the older browsers will not allow the use of open/close icons for the sub menus.
Make the main heading of the section a link. To do this, select the text and add a hyperlink to it.

Introduction

The main mission of the Office of Educational Technology (OET) is to empower the College of Education faculty, staff and students to effectively, creatively and innovatively use technology for teaching and learning. Under the leadership of Dr. Evangeline S. Pianfetti, OET is comprised of the following units:
